What’s your favourite way of spending an evening?
a. In front of the telly with a pizza
You think you’re going to be accused of being unadventurous and, therefore, not suited to a life abroad. In fact, telly and pizza are just about universal so you can enjoy them anywhere.
b. Over a relaxing meal with friends
Being sociable is a vital part of making the most of being abroad. And what better way than a meal with friends?
c. At the cinema or theatre
In many countries you’ll struggle to find entertainment in English. DVDs usually have a choice of language, but it’s not the same as going to the cinema. It’s very easy to become detached from your culture.
d. Out clubbing until dawn
You may be able to do that on holiday, but it’s not so easy if you’ve got work the following day.
